Brent is licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation
(LPC-MHSP). He is seminary-trained in marriage and family therapy. He is also an ordained minister through the Southern Baptist Convention. He has been working with families for twenty years in a variety of capacities, both inside and outside the church. He has counseled families and led marriage and parenting classes in the church, and has worked with at-risk youth and families outside the church. He has worked as an in-home family counselor, a juvenile probation officer, a pastor, and at a residential facility for troubled teens, where he oversaw all of the residential programs of the facility.
Brent is available to work with individuals and families in the community to bring healing and restoration to broken relationships and broken souls.
Brent currently resides in Spring Hill, TN with Tracy, his bride of over 30 years. They have two daughters, one who resides in Louisville, KY with her husband, and one who is a teacher in the greater Nashville, TN area. Additionally, they have a son who attends Carson Newman University. He likes to read, work-out, play on his smartphone, and considers himself somewhat of a coffee connoisseur. In the fall, you can find him in front of the television on Sunday afternoons after church rooting for the Indianapolis Colts. He is also a die-hard
Indiana University basketball fan.
